The technology development is focusing on the human migration to the solar system and even on mars colonization. What we already know: that are few projects running and for the majority of people, the space tourism is still far.
Indeed, the costs are very high and the trip cannot be physiologically and physically approached by most of us, because the weightlessness.
Anyway, space tourism exists already: there is the possibility to book a suborbital flight directly on the Blue Origin and Virgirn Galactic websites. The flight requires two days training and it last 11 minutes. The experience includes to fly over 100 km from the earth, to enter officially in the space, to experience the zero gravity and to land again by parachute.

First space Hotel
The company Above Space is working on the first space hotel opening next year in 2025. Yes, you are reading right! The future is closer than you think!
The idea is to enhance the space tourism and address this futuristic project to more people.
This amazing new concept consists in different wheels, connected by elevator and orbiting together around the earth.
The plan it consists in create two tourist space station: the first one will accommodate 28 tourists and will be soon available. Whereas the second one, available in 2027, will transport altogether 400 tourists.
The wheels are able to offer different gravity experiences. Thanks to the artificial gravity, people will be able to travel to the space with the comfort they have on the earth. Guests will have the possibility to eat, sleep and walk in most of the dedicated wheels.
Hence, in some wheels they can explore the weightlessness.
However, this special hotel will provide luxury interior design, with the difference to offer an extraordinary view… out of the ordinary.
About the price
At the beginning the price will be high. But the aim for the near future is to reduce the prices and to make it affordable for more guests. This process needs time. Actually, the revenue is based on the exclusivity: as per any activities the higher the demand, the lower the price.
Nevertheless, the first trip will last 18 hours and will cost $55 million.
This project is at the beginning: one day humans will be able to travel and work in the space. The mindset is not inclined yet for doing this experience, especially for many people. But the concretization of this amazing futuristic proposal will progressively shift the opinion of most of us. Humans will consider their environment the space too.
